On August 20th 1965 it's fair to assert a founding father of Hip-Hop was born. Known synonymously as the "Teacha" or the "Blastmaster", Lawrence Krisna Parker aka KRS-ONE rose from the streets of Brooklyn, Harlem and the Bronx to become one of the forefathers of MCeeing and has rightfully (some 15 albums later) earned himself ambassadorial status within the world of Hip-Hop.

A political activist, a Hip-Hop Conservationalist, a reputable Author, lecturer and undoubted entrepreneur, with his UK gig at Camden's HMV FORUM no less then 48 HOURS away it seems appropriate to go back and celebrate the "teacha" in action (alongside the one and only DJ Premier).
