Okay first off we wont let the rain get to us! With a downpour iminent and Victoria Park's LoveBox Festival two days away there's a wealth of tantalising events popping off across the capital this weekend so it seems only right we help make your mind up and tell you where you really should be this weekend.

If your a fan of hedonistic club experiences, Dalston's intimate club space The Nest opened back in 2010. Set within an intimate, 350 capacity basement with an aim to bring forth a new clubbing dynamic focused around progressive electronic music, The Nest has played host to all the big hitters within the Dance music sphere over the past 18 months and to celebrate the beginning of this years LoveBox Festival we're giving away TWO guest list spots for their after-party this coming Friday.

THE JUAN MACLEAN (DFA) + SHIT ROBOT (DFA) + FACTORY FLOOR (LIVE DANCE SET) + RORY PHILLIPS + PLANT PLANTS (LIVE)

With NY house DJ The Juan Maclean behind the decks, his legendary soul-blend of early 90s disco-house and electro has seen his popularity soar throughout the last few years. Playing The Nest’s launch way-back-when; we know how good this guy can be.

Analogue synth wielding, tape loop layering and post-punk vocal crooning band Factory Floor are also on board and set to perform a rare live dance workshop set. This special appearance will see them ditch the drums and increase the intensity of their synths. Keeping it local in their East London hub, they debut at The Nest for a Lovebox after party blow out that is not to be missed!

In support is another from the New York/DFA faithful: Shit Robot. Taking his share of the disco, house and electro sound, his productions and re-works soundtrack dancefloors across the board. Although remaining relatively quiet over recent years,  he’s back with an even stronger beat.
