Lenzman Returns

Everyone’s favourite soulful DnB producer is back with two new tracks. Real name Teije van Vliet, Lenzman hails from Leiden in the Netherlands and gained notoriety after 2010’s brilliantly subtle Open Page featuring the excuisite vocals of Riya. Open Page was a mind-numbingly beautiful liquid classic and his latest tracks thankfully follow in the same vain.

How Did I Let U Go sees Lenzman team up once again with Riya and yet again has the same level of mastery as open Open Page it is a modern lament to a lost love set to the sound track of chilled beats and gentle tones. It’s the kind of DnB that just melts out of the speakers.

Wordsworth delivers a deep bass line reverberating around your head over shimmering chords. Once again an aspect of Lenzman's production that consistantly sets him a part is the use of classic R&B sampling, and on Wordworth we're treated to the vocals of 'Sweet Lady', a timeless slow jam from Soul-Singer-turned-major-Hollywood-star Tyrese, an excellent choice that works so well here.

Lenzman yet again proves he is a force to be reckoned with. 2012 could be his year. Collaborating with DRS on the MC's forthcoming album, a busy DJing schedule and he is readying his own debut full-length LP. Titled ‘Looking At The Stars’, the album is to be released on Metalheadz towards the end of the year.

Expecting big things.
