Sounddhism : The People's Music

Sounddhism is Nottingham’s undisputed premier night for real soul-felt music and high quality live performances. Whether its hip-hop, house, jazz, soul or electronica, Soundhissm always promises a unique mix of vibes that you don’t get from other nights up or down the country. Over the past few years it has been responsible for bringing through some greatest talents and it provides a platform for able musicians and a dance floor for music lovers all the same. This time around Sounddhism's vision is to continue it's soulful ethic to a higher level. Focusing its spotlights onto live bands and performances throughout the year; and after a long, 'not so hot' summer, Sounddhism has announced a line-up with seven sizzling live acts and four DJs.

The line up boasts a few Nottingham debutes and four Sounddhism debuts, including Abouttoblow's very own Warren Xclnce who will be playing the first DJ appearence for Sounddhism this Autumn - hoping to get the pace set for the rest of the year. The theme is all about the 'fresh' and the night promise something even the Sounddhism faithful haven't yet seen before. To remind everyone how much fun Sounddhism was last term, here is a short montage of good times and great nights...

Things can only get better as they say and the next event which is billed for the 6th october, will not testify that. Alongside Warren and the resident Dj's there is an appearence form the Boxettes fronted by the Female World Beat Box Champion, the cross-genre experience of Hallouminati, and not forgetting Charlotte Carpenter, the extraordinary talented singer-songwriter . There will be the Sounddhism debut of super soulful Ady Suleiman, Cheshire & The Cat, Joy Mumford and One Bomb.
