The Hier collective are a group of like minded music lovers connected by a simple shared ethos: Great Dj’s at a decent price + an intimate venue = A great party. With 2 floors, complete with a Funktion 1 system, FunkinEven’s Peckham debut is looking to be one of the hottest tickets this coming weekend.

FunkinEven

Since his debut release ‘Kleer’ on Alex Nut’s superlative Eglo records, FunkinEven has spent the last two years staking his claim as one of the most important artists in Electronic music. A slew of genre defying releases which take in and ably demonstrate his myriad of influences from Hip-Hop and Soul to House and Techno.

2012 has seen him forge ahead with his own unique blend of genre melding excellence including remixes for Bonobo, the fantastic 90’s R’n’B and Soul flavoured ‘Phone Line EP’ feat. Fatima and collaboraions with Detroit wunderkind Kyle Hall under the FunkinEvil moniker as well as a selection of choice 12” on his own Apron records its an absolute pleasure to have him headlining our first outing and we see him as the perfect banner man with which to declare our statement of intent. Check out is recent mix from New York on NTS Radio below.

These Trouble Vision and Oonst residents have been steadily carving a niche for themselves on the London party scene for a minute now. For Hier’s inaugral outing they will be laying down their own distinctive blend of disco, funk and hard as fuck house that we hope to make the foundation of our fledgling party series. If by some chance you are unfamiliar with check out this mix they did on the fly for NTS last month.

  • With advanced tickets priced at £10 and currently flying out make sure you grab yours early by copping your tickets here.
Funkineven also dropped the visuals for forthcoming release 'Dracula' earlier today. Due for release on  Halloween rather fittingly on blood red Vinyl, this is the kind of stuttering 303 acid jam FunkinEven has become such an expert of. Stream in HD for the full blooded experience.
