TROUPE LONDON | Halloween | XOYO + After Party | 27.10.12 | Boddika & Shadow Child
Continually mixing some of the best names in emerging House, Techno, Grime & Electro, the ever evolving Troupe London crew have teamed up with the newly revamped XOYO to summon a great line-up to toast the spooky season.
For anyone who's ever tasted a Troupe event, you'll know what the night generally entails. A somewhat intimate house party vibe complete with devout ravers intent on two stepping the night away to the latest underground cuts we're all currently falling head over heels for. Its a night that always lives long in the memory which makes this Halloween special all the more tantalising.
Located not too far from its familiar home of Pulse Warehouse, Old Street's now historic XOYO will be in charge of hosting duties this time around as heavyweights Boddika and Shadow Child keep everyone on their toes as they test out the club's new sound system to full effect. Urban Nerds' head spinner and fellow Londoner Klose One will also be dishing out some serious speaker-rattle as he brings forward his usual blend of bass-heavy goodness.
With Croz, Sharkbait, James Levey, SQUA, About To Blow's Guest Mixer Ed Milton and one of our personal favourite's Eton Messy also joining proceedings this is one Halloween party you do not want to miss. With typically goulish Halloween outfits in attendance, the fun doesnt simply stop when XOYO shuts down, as Dalston's Visions Bar will be hosting an after-party from 3:30 till 08:30am. Yes that's right 08:30am. Whoever said Halloween was for the faint hearted?
With things kicking off from 10pm, Tickets are available from Resident Advisor here and further information can be gained from the Facebook event page here.
In the meantime, here's a specifically crafted Halloween Mix from headliners Shadow Child to wet your appetite.
Also worth some love is this newly crafted mix from Messy Mix from Eton Messy, who never fails to put out a killer selection of emotive, 'Future Bass' pearlers to tug at your heart strings. A brilliantly bossy Mix, very nice indeed.
See you on the dancefloor.
