We’ve always been big fans of Billie Black here at ATB.
If you’re a fan of the electronica-tinged R’n’B vibes of Banks or Sinead Harnett, then you’re likely to love her too. Forging her own musical path, Billie Black grew up in a house surrounded by an eclectic mix of music including Roots Reggae and 70’s disco. Billie Black was signed to Warner Chappell Publishing at just 19. Following this, she released two critically acclaimed EPs on her own label, hitting millions of streams on Spotify.
The new release feels like a defining moment for the Londoner. It’s an eclectic fusion of all the songwriters defining influences.
Speaking of the title track After All, Billie Black explains:
“It’s about passion and desire. Letting your heart lead your head and not the other way round; pursuing a love that you know isn’t good for you but that you can’t seem to let go; learning to be vulnerable and finding a certain strength in that.”
