A lot can happen in seven years. So much so in fact, that Cruz and Juan Arnau Lasierra have just about taken the mantle as they continue to take their award-winning experiential event concept and party series elrow around the world and, in turn, find new locations to house the increasingly immersive and entertaining show’s they curate.
In the midst of holding down a jaw-dropping residency at Ibiza’s Amnesia, the Spanish party starters have announced their plans to ensure the UK gets in on the action before the summers out, as they collaborate with leading London events team LWE to bring ‘Elrow Town’ to the capital. Hosted across two days at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the all-day event will combine three celebrated elrow themes in one space, with Singermorning, El Rowcio Presents: Feria de Abril and Rowlympics all set to feature.
What’s more, the headliners have been revealed for the two-day extravaganza, and it’s not surprise they’ve drafted in the best of the best, with Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Eats Everything and surprise edition Idris Elba confirmedfor the festival-scale show.
What’s more, Butch, Riva Starr, James, Route 94, Robert James, Lauren Lane, Shadow Child, The 2 Bear, Santé & Sidney Charles will make up the rest of the main stage talent, ensuring the usual house hedonism – with outpours of confetti – are suitably satisfied.
For the first time in elrow history and bringing an entirely new dimension to the event, bass and UK funky will be on show, with Roska, Jus Now, DJ Die, Chimpo, Sticky & Scott Garcia Man Power, Mele, Crazy Cousinz, Marcus Nasty and The Menendez Brothers and William Djoko taking over their own dedicated space within Rowlympic Village, inviting elrow’s townsfolk to unleash their gun-fingers and running-men to some of the best in British bass.
With the home-ground advantage, elrow’s feisty resident squad will be delivering high-octane performances, with Marc Maya, De La Swing, Toni Varga, George Privatti and Bastian Bux completing elrow Town London‘s Rowlympics team.
elrow’s final event in London this year – and biggest show to date – will offer a 360° immersive experience, housing three of elrow’s party themes within the elaborately constructed, custom-made town setting, complete with the wacky characters, larger-than-life production and swirling confetti now synonymous with the brand.
Miss this one at your peril.
