A Sun-Drenched, Nu-Disco Edit from the London Producer
Indie pop duo Peppermint Heaven are set to build on the momentum created by their hugely successful ‘Curious Things’ album with the release of their brand new single ‘Lessons In Love’. Their unique brand of 80’s style indie pop has earned them a cult following over the last five years, and the new single looks set to continue their meteoric rise.
With Lessons In Love, the U.S duo are continuing their legacy of curating some of the U.K’s newest talent on remix duties. This time, bringing in the talents of East London producer FNP, with a nu-disco interpretation.
Splitting his time between production and running the label Slinkiemusic (Fans include Avalon Emerson, Ross From Friends and Paleman) – The London producer has been featured in Thump, Complex, Clash and Data Transmission in the past year. He’s also gone on to write and produce for a number of other artists in the capital. His remix of ‘Lessons In Love’ is a retro-sexual nod to the analogue 80’s, with a beach-side production style. Equally at home at the side of a swimming pool or on a night out, it’s an emphatic showcase of both artists individual styles.
