Bass music, as loose as a term as that is, is a genre that gets pushed and pulled in a lot of different directions, especially after the fads of Dubstep and EDM Trap have wained and producers aren’t too sure where to go next. Carrying the torch forwards, with boundary-pushing finesse is Kiwi producer Ian Munro. With such a unique sound, it’s no surprise that his latest, Again, Again was released via Quality Goods, the brainchild of the innovative producer ƱZ.
‘Again, Again’ to me really hits this beautiful moment that sits right in between melancholy and hope. Never quite gravitating more towards either – but occupying both at the same time.
