Her introduction came through online channel Boiler Room, where her personality managing the door at events landed her a spot hosting shows for the burgeoning platform. A regular spot on Rinse soon followed, where her distinct ability for discovering new music and to connect with guests shone through, quickly racking up regular listeners from all over the globe with guests including Cardi B, Brent Faiyaz and Masego passing through the studio along the way.
Off-air Jyoty’s travelled the world playing in cities like New York, Calcutta, Lisbon and Berlin, and has started the year in determined fashion, showcasing what she’s been doing behind the decks with the launch of her debut mix series – Jyoty’s Request Line.
