As a label, My Love Is Underground has been turning heads consistently since its inception in 2010. It’s evolution from small-circulation imprint to internationally renowned and celebrated institution loved for advocating a classic and downright authentic house groove has set consistently set the label a part from the rest, and quite frankly we can’t get enough.
From one of it’s earliest releases ‘Sexy Thing‘ up to the now club-classic ‘Fuck Off Track‘ the French label has been on something of a roll from day one, with a stunning back catalogue that we’re indebted to label founder Jeremy Underground Paris for.
The success wouldn’t have been possible of course without the renowned crate-diggers supporting cast of optimum talent, with Brawther and Tristan de Cunha – collectively forming Dungeon Meat – as much a part of the labels identity and vision as it’s main star. It’s a label with a distinct family vibe and what better way to celebrate than with one of the UK’s most celebrated club nights, as premium party starters Percolate have teamed up with MLIU for a fifth birthday of epic proportions.
Taking place at Village Underground, one of London’s finest spaces, having had Jeremy down to celebrate the night’s first birthday celebrations it was only right the gesture was reciprocated, with the label boss and man of the people Jeremy Underground taking charge alongside long-time associates Brawther and his Dungeon Meat other-half Tristan da Cunha, as well as SE62.
If you’ve experienced the crew in action you’ll know what to expect, for those unaware expect only the finest and purest house cuts from across the ages within one of the greatest atmosphere’s you’re likely to find from an event of this kind.
