Multi-talented and creatively intriguing new artist MALORY has released her second single and follow up to ‘Rapture’. This time round we see the flourishing musician continue to be inspired by dystopian motifs as she pens a story of two lovers caught in a 1950’s post-apocalyptic underground bunker (think ‘Stranger Things’ meets ‘Blast From The Past’).
The 23 year old has been championed at radio by XFM (John Kennedy), BBC Radio2 (Terry Wogan and Dermot O’Leary) and BBC Introducing/London. Other highlights include supporting George Ezra on tour and live performances at BBC Introducing Hyde Park and BBC 6 Music Chris Hawkins’ showcase event. All this in a relatively short career to date makes her a seriously impressive candidate to hit home in 2018.
The new single is a hard-edged, rapturous piece of electronic pop with enough rawness to please anybody’s musical pallette.
