In keeping with the expression ‘if it aint broke, don’t fix it’, the all-conquering LWE are back at it again, as they reveal supreme party starters The Martinez Brothers are set to launch London’s newest warehouse clubbing space – Old Fountain Studios on Sunday 6th May.
Having successfully opened the doors to the capitals’ newesr favourite daytime rave-spot Printworks (launch review here), LWE have once again demonstrated their ability to redefine London’s club scene alongside their passion for innovation by revealing Old Fountain Studios, a never-before-used space in the heart of Wembley.
Gritty and unpolished on the surface, its rusted walkways, barbed wire fences and looming ceilings are essentially a blank industrial canvas, a rarity in the city, from which LWE will craft a unique experience unrivalled by anywhere else.
As part of a weekend launch over the May bank holiday, Bronx duo The Martinez Brothers will be hosting a huge showcase of key talent from their very own label – Cuttin’ Headz. The Bros always bring their A-game when they play in the UK, as witnessed during last years unforgettable Printworks launch, with blistering extended sets like these under their belts it’s clear the brothers thrive when given license to play in unconventional, gritty settings akin to this brand new space.
Joining them will be Arkityp, the blistering duo made up of Archie Hamilton and Rossko – two of our favourite artists in recent years, having seen their profiles increase significantly following their fearless sets in the booth for Enzo Siragusa’s Fuse parties, not to mention their studio releases. With ambitious selector Argy and Leftroom head honcho Matt Tolfrey also confirmed, it’s set to be a stunning introduction to Old Fountain Studios.
