MwS have been riding the crest of a wave since landing in London a couple of years back.
The Italian duo left their home in a small Italian town, in search of an audience for their distinctive brand of neo-soul. Luckily, their journey coincided with a mass enthusiasm for the genre fronted by the likes of Tom Misch and Marie Dahlstrom.
It wasn’t long before their music was picked up by the likes of Clash, Complex and The 405 – They also landed the attention of Spotify’s curation team around the world, who heavily supported their first EP and the new project. They have also since racked up support on 1Xtra, BBC Introducing in London and Amazing Radio. It’s all in anticipation of their brand new EP expected this summer. The highlight so far is the stunning new single ‘Moonlight’. Drawing on influences of disco, funk and nu-soul, it’s an outstanding piece from an undeniably talented pair.

“Moonlight was inspired by a dream Giulia had after watching La La Land. Most of the images come straight from the surreal atmosphere of dreams, where you can sometimes meet ‘your self’ and find the courage to break out of your comfort zone. The song is also an invitation to focus on the positive side of things in order to reach your full potential.”
