Returning to Peckham Rye for the second year, Gala Festival takes over the end of May bank holiday weekend with some of the biggest innovators and visionaries in house and disco. Taking place on 26th May, Gala fuses a carefully curated line-up with an impeccable sound system all complemented by a mouth-watering selection of local food outlets including the aptly named restaurant – Levan.
This year’s line up includes some Gala favourites such as Horse Meat Disco and their titillating Pleasure Dome. Palms Trax also curates his own stage ‘Cooking with Palms Trax’ while Honey Dijon and Derrick Carter headline alongside Chicago house legend Chez Damier. Home grown selectors Midland and Sassy J are sure to bring the heat, as are Crazy P as they bring one of the best live dance music acts to South London.
If twelve hours isn’t enough to satisfy your dancing feet you can head over to Bussey Building for the after party featuring three rooms of varying house and techno.
