With the rum drunk dry and the furore of carnival now a distant memory for another memory, for our September session we’re delighted to shift the vibe in a different direction, with the excellent Bristol based imprint Piff Records dropping by alongside one of our favourite emerging producers in recent times, Harrison BDP.
Regardless of stature or status, every month we try and bring you the sounds we feel need showcasing, and we couldn’t be happier to have these guys pass through to bring us the type of emotive, melodic and all-round crunchy four to the floor house that’s starting to get the attention it deserves.
Having first caught our attention with the ethereal ‘Confusion of Sound’ at the start of the year, Welsh producer Harrison BDP is producing some seriously vibey house that deserves your attention. And soon to release on Piff Records, who describe their sound as “100% freshly squeezed vibes”, be sure to check out the excellent Jesse Bru and Warren Raw EP’s from the label’s back catalogue.
We’ll be back on the Radar airwaves on Saturday September 21st with a future beats special featuring one of our favourite Amsterdam crews (no names yet). 16:00 – 18:00 BST.
