London songwriter Ayelle is in the peak of her powers
Named as “One To Watch” by Billboard, the young artist has been making a name for herself with her unique blend of future R&B and soul.
She’s had a busy, but incredibly productive year with performances at SXSW and support from the likes of Nylon and Complex UK. However, she also spends time working with charities supporting domestic abuse, and also raises awareness for key issues such as mental health.
The new single ‘Worst Way’, is a smooth and silky neo-soul gem. Lush vocal harmonies sit above a groove-rich production. On the new single she states:
“I wrote ‘Worst Way’ about falling for someone against your better judgement. It’s about that type of intense longing that you can’t seem to stop or do anything about, you just have to be close to that person. I’d also been a fan of Naji’s for quite some time and the song provided the perfect opportunity to blend our styles together.” – Ayelle
