After we brought you our Dimensions 2013 review last week it was only right that we start this week preparing ourselves for next year’s affair. With perfect timing Dimensions Festival have just announced its first set of headliners which will gives us a taste for whats in store for 2014.
It would seem as though they couldn’t wait for 2014 to announce some of the performers and we aren’t shocked why. Heading up thier first announcement is Caribou who will grace next year’s festival with his full live experience. Also the Mercury-nominated composer, remixer and long term Brian Eno collaborator; Jon Hopkins will also join the to set up alongside the world respected Giles Peterson who we couldn’t sing enough praises for in 2013. DMZ head honcho Mala is also a confirmed headliner, with him he brings the afrobeat innovator Ebo Taylor, John Wizards and Tikiman + Scion who also join the ranks.
Some of the stage takeovers have been announced with Resident Advisor, Leisure System, Hessle Audio vs Lies, Eglo Records, confirmed for nowgiving us the hint that Dimensions 2014 is setting up to be the most eclectic yet. Also with a change of date it will mean that there is even more sunlight, longer days and fresher beaches for 2014 and although we didn’t have a video for 2013 the masterpiece of an official video can be viewed here
