The new single explores the producer’s love for Synthwave and 70’s Italo Disco
Drenched in reverb and a pastiche for analogue synths, the new single from UK Producer FNP is an epic piece of cosmic-disco gold. The second track from an EP forthcoming in 2021, it’s a track that’s built around a spacey chord progression and a pulsating drum pattern.
Available now via his own imprint Bottled Sauce – the new single comes at the end of an exceptional year for the East-London producer. On the back of support from Thump Magazine, Clash, Datatransmission, Dummy Magazine and Complex with many more following suit. His releases have spanned across leftfield techno, synthwave and house with significant support from streaming platforms. Across Spotify his recent releases have picked up over 700k streams worldwide.
“This track was one of a selection of tracks written during lockdown, when I had very little company other than my synthesizers. Like all of my tracks, EYN takes massive influence from the Italo Disco genre throughout Italy in the 70’s and 80’s – As well as synthwave movie soundtracks and just anything warm and analogue-esque.”
