Only a few weeks to go now till Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce is back to Dalston’s Birthdays for another session of beats, grooves and vibes. This time around Jamz will be hosting the stage for New York production duo Brasstracks who have been pioneering their own sound with their fusion of live drums & brass which perfectly compliment the bass characters and vocal tones in the Future Bass scene. Their hybrid take on the sound has seen them gain notoriety from BBC Radio, Soulection, Majestic Casual, and Pigeons and Planes blog. Last year they produced on Goldlink’s highly anticipated debut album “And After That We Didn’t Talk” and more recently Pitchfork described their production on Chance The Rappers “Colouring Book” as the best cut on the album. This summer they drop their debut EP with world-class features from the likes of Jay Prince, Roses Gabor & Lido so make sure to catch them at Birthday’s for their very first UK show!
The second artist on the bill is the young and incredibly talented Raye. Having written for Charli XCX, Wretch 32, MNEK & more, Raye dropped a blog loved EP last year before touring with Years & Years & collaborating with Odd Child’s Avelino & Chris Loco. The young talent who’s collaborated with Stormzy will definitely be one to watch for the rest of the year – so make sure to grab tickets for the next Future Bounce and experience her live! Check out Brasstrack’s playlist below to get a feel of what kinda vibes they are rocking to right now. Tickets and further information available in the links below!
