The New Single is a Trap-Infused Piece of Alt-pop
Songwriter and producer Braynin has been in and amongst the music industry for a number of years, lending his songwriting guile to global artists including global DJ Imanbek and Darkroom/Interscope’s newest signee, Cian Ducrot. His work for these artists has racked up over 100 million streams – but it’s time to launch his own journey as an artist.
Originally from Cork, the talented songwriter has dropped ‘Butterflies’ to showcase his nuanced and innovative songwriting and production. It’s a track that draws on elements of trap, pop & urban with a unique vocal flair. Speaking on the new single, Braynin states:
“I wrote the initial idea at the piano, As it started to take shape, I realised the song needed some guitar. So I rang Josh McClorey and he came over to lay some guitars down. We jammed for a bit before getting the hook of the instrumental which can be clearly heard in the introduction. My friend Cian Ducrot lives around the corner, so I went over to his house and we worked on the pre-chorus together. It’s the first time I’ve felt really happy in a while and I think it shows! I have to say I’m very excited about this one.” – Braynin
