Halina Rice presents her live AV and mixed reality live performances on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th December at Peckham’s Copeland Gallery SE15. London-based electronic producer and AV artist will perform two unique live performances fusing her melancholic yet beat-driven electronic music with remarkable mixed reality visuals where the artist will be mapped in real time into the live graphics.
There will also be a free AV installation on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th from 11am to 6pm at the Copeland Gallery SE15. The installation will premiere an augmented reality app, designed and created by Jakob Macdonald. Visitors will be able to see visualisations of sounds moving around the Copland Gallery using their mobile devices
Halina shared: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have this opportunity to deliver a performance that will so fully animate the music – to truly envelope the audience with 360˚ sound and visuals. I just want people to be able to leave the day to day behind and be transported by the mobile phones to literally see visualisations of sounds moving around the gallery.”
