The Liverpudlian artist Brings an Alternative Sound to Soul
Quickly becoming known in her native city of Liverpool for creating and fusing the sounds of Jazz and soul in a modern production style, rising songwriter Lois Levin is dropping her second single ‘You Don’t Make Me Feel Good Anymore’. It’s a sultry piece of alternative soul with jazz-leaning influences, that explores the feeling of losing interest in a partner and slowly growing apart. As Loin states below:
“You Don’t Make Me Feel Good Anymore is exactly about what you’d think. The song is direct but still confusing and complex, kind of what happens when you find someone attractive but it’s just absolutely going nowhere and it’s not even worth it. This song is admitting that and walking away.” – Lois Levin
The track comes after Lois’ debut single ‘Burden’, a critically acclaimed track that led to support from Jazz FM, BBC 6Music, BBC Introducing and BBC London. She also picked up online support from the likes of Wonderland and Earmilk.
