Based out of Berlin and crafting their own brand of off-kilter electronic pop – Producer-songwriter duo Madsius Ovanda are gearing up towards their new full album project. The new single ‘I Survived’ is an ode to solidarity amongst womxn, built on the foundations of some incredible synth work.
As complete and multi-faceted musicians, Pia and Carina have full control over their own creative vision. From writing and producing their own music from start to finish, they reflect in their music a message of support and affinity, particularly among women. Their sound, is instantly recognisable as two artists perfectly in sync, finding a sonic space between the multifaceted sounds of Little Dragon and James Blake, while staying true to their pop influences such as Maggie Rogers or Jorja Smith.
“I Survived is a ballad of resilience. It’s a song of self-assurance and an elegy, resonating the hopes that connect us, and a tender reminder not to lose them even when things go south. For us, I Survived mirrors personal experiences in overcoming adversity and reclaiming authenticity.”
