The Belgian Creative is At The Top Of Her Game
One of the most exciting names to arrive on the Alt-RnB scene in the past few months is undoubtedly Mulay. She’s shot to prominence with her remarkable productions and outstanding visual accompaniments which have led to support with the likes of Clash, Colors, Girls Are Awesome and plenty more. This week, she released her new EP ‘ANTRACYDE’ via Groenland Records and it’s a stunning piece of work from an exceptional new talent.
A surefire hit for fans of Banks or FKA Twigs it’s a release that ebbs and flows between emotive crescendos and all-out dark pop production. Speaking on the new EP, Mulay states:
“Writing is my therapy and in expressing myself, I translate raw, real, and often complicated emotion into art in as many dimensions as possible; film, music, movement and live performance. I want to create an alternate world that takes people on a journey through the depths of my mind, one that will end up serving as a surface for people on the outside to reflect upon themselves.”
