The new Single is a Sun-Drenched Slice of the Miami Sound
Channeling pure Hot Creations energy, L.A based producers Odd Ones Out collaborate with Coupe Melba on a perfect deep house anthem for the summer months. Built on a solid groove and employing a lush top-line, it’s got just the right amount of energy while keeping that sun terrace sound.
A truly global collaboration. ‘Biscayne Lady’ is the project of working between Los Angeles and Miami, where the three artists are based respectively. Each artist on the track comes from a different background, but shares a love for soulful authentic house beats. Production duo Odd Ones Out (real names Jordi Llado and Jaime Bolin) are from Barcelona and Madrid, before moving to Miami. Coupe Melba (real name Charles Calvert) is from France, before moving to the UK and eventually L.A. Vocalist Miluhska is from Ecuador before settling in Miami.
Lyricist Miluhska (Pitcured) states:
“Biscayne Lady is about confidence in the face of uncertainty
The lyrics talk about a woman from Miami that doesn’t care about anything but her enjoyment and self-care. She doesn’t want any type of ties or serious relationships. She just wants to go out and have fun. Biscayne is the name of Miami’s bay and “Biscayne Lady” the name of a boat where several parties are thrown mostly during Art Basel and Miami Music Week”
