The Red Bull Music Academy application process is now open for 2015 meaning another chance for 60 up and coming carefully selected producers, beat-makers and musicians to travel to Paris into one of the most exciting and creatively engaging projects around today. With an array of workshops, tutorials and events Red Bull Music Academy is no doubt regarded as one of the prestigious and impressive collective events within the music scene.
With the top-of-the-rage music equipment and some of the most experienced teachers from around the world it boasts a great potential for anyone involved and for those keen on experiencing the Academy first-hand, the application phase for the Paris edition is now officially open. To apply, simply download the application form at apply.redbullmusicacademy.com and follow the instructions. The academy officially takes place during October 25th – November 27th but remember all applications must be postmarked by March 4th to meet the deadline, and music makers must be at least 18 years of age by October 24th, 2015 to be eligible.
In the build up to the main event in the autumn RBMA will be hosting a few Road to Paris sessions in Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol and London. Kicking things off with a talk from previous academy member Mumdance discussing his experiences and his lessons gained from his experience in Tokyo 2014. Then finishing up with a lecture from DJ Deep (Leeds), Francois K (Liverpool), Ivan Smagghe (Bristol) and Gilb’r (London) details on this week’s Road to Paris sessions are listed here.
