The boys are back and this time they bring along starRo, the notorious remix producer for the remix of their track ‘Getaway’.
If you weren’t aware of Schwarz Dont Crack before you’re in for a treat. SDC is the brainchild of Ahmad Larnes and Sebastian Kreis, who met in Berlin following Ahmad’s move from New York City and Sebastian’s flee from South Germany, both in search of a more progressive musical landscape. Together they have found a synthesis of sound formed from the rich tapestry of American 90s R&B and the German capital’s perpetual electronic obsession.
Having toured the United States, Canada and throughout Asia, playing alongside artists like Flume, Chet Faker, Gold Link, Giraffage, starRo pulls his creative inspiration from not only eclectic artists like Stevie Wonder, Ryuichi Sakamoto, the Neptunes, Sly Stone, J Dilla and Bill Evans, but also the visual arts, architecture and nature, his father and all sushi chefs from around the globe.
starRo joins the guys on this with his remix of their track ‘Getaway’. It’s still a hell of a track, dope follow up.
