It’s a gorgeous piece of indie-electronica..
Fast becoming one of our favourite artist-producers in the genre, UK Based Tragic Sasha has captured the attention with her exquisite synth work on her previous three singles from her forthcoming EP. The new single is a prime example, with thick synths side-chained against some beautiful songwriting.
Following her online success, the aspiring artist performed to packed audiences at The Great Escape and other events. However, the global pandemic forced her to take a break. Despite the challenges of breaking into the music industry during a pandemic, Sasha made good use of her newfound free time by renting a studio in London and teaching herself music production.
Speaking on the new single, she explains..
‘I wrote The End Of The World, with my two friends Kaity Rae and Scott Colcombe, just before the pandemic in 2019 about being anxious for the state of the world- little did I know what was just around the corner. My songs sometimes have a habit of prophesying the future! I made the video with Dottie Kay in my Grandmother’s old Tudor house in the country. The house itself is beautiful but it’s been crumbling down for many years and I knew it would be the perfect location.’
